I have been working at Bradford & Galt part-time (More than a year)
Bradford & Galt has afforded me more opportunities than I can ever begin to repay them for. My first position through them was an internship for an insurance company called HCI. HCI was acquired by another company and Bradford & Galt went above and beyond to find me another job. This landed me at Hallmark Cards' World Headquarters in Kansas City. I loved the pay and the people were great, too, but something about working in a cubicle all day left something to be desired. So Bradford & Galt found me another job, this time at Cerner Corp., which, according to Fortune magazine is the No. 1, World’s Most Admired Company in Health Care and, on top of that one of the top 10 most innovative companies in the United States according to Forbes. And I love this job so much. I get the opportunity to travel around the U.S. and meet some of the most interesting and hardworking people you can imagine. Working in a hospital is great because I get to walk around and help all sorts of people with their software questions, which in turn helps them help the people who need help most. And for me, seeing the gratefulness in someone's eyes when you can solve their problem and feeling like you're making a difference is one of the most satisfying things in the world.
Not only has Bradford & Galt been an incredible force in my life, they have helped several of my best friends find employment as well. What they are doing is truly impactful and inspiring and I hope they continue to grow their incredible talent base and their company as a whole. I truly am proud to be a part of Bradford & Galt.
The nature of contract work is that it isn't steady.
Advice to Management
Keep up the positive attitudes and work ethic!
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Bradford & Galt (Overland Park, KS).
Engaged by outside recruiting firm who was recruiting for them. Met with Manager in-person a couple times and was asked to complete an on-line personality test. Other than that, it was more of a conversation, got to ask your questions and a few around your background. Overall pretty quick process and painless.
