    Pros

    Excellent Culture - The workplace environment is relaxed, but professional. I've worked at plenty of corporate jobs where slacks and button-ups are either required or expected. Brainjocks allows employees to where casual dress so that the team is comfortable during their daily schedules. The culture is also one of laughter and fun, starting with the CEO and filtering throughout all project teams.

    Quality Teammates - Don't you hate working on a project team where one or more members are not pulling their weight? Even worse is when the team becomes a bottleneck for the project, which aggravates the client and any third party teams involved. Thanks to Brainjocks' exclusive interview-screening process, the entire company is staffed with high-quality skill sets across all project teams. Confidence is a benefit, but check your ego at the door! Our developers do not engage in knowledge hoarding, and all team members always cover your back - even if it is after hours or if they are not even part of the project team! It is the absolute worst feeling to be in a stressful moment and feeling alone. Brainjocks'
    employees will stop whatever they are doing to swarm and help if someone finds themselves in a higher-priority, emergency situation.

    Worldwide Presence - The main Brainjocks office is located in Alpharetta, GA, but we also have teams located throughout the US, in Brazil, and across the EU. Our worldwide presence provides us the opportunity to offer additional levels of customer support in various time zones.

    Manageable Timelines - Leadership does a great job of not selecting projects that are likely to turn into a fire drill. All projects begin with a kick-off process between management and the customer to set proper, realistic expectations. The project teams utilize Agile development processes to ensure that the work with the greatest client ROI is delivered early, while also taking into consideration any known risks/dependencies and also allowing time for unknowns.

    Raving Fans - Brainjocks prides itself on customer satisfaction. Happy and repeat customers begin by delivering quality development projects and then supporting those clients via Managed Services monitoring and maintenance plans. Happy customers are fun to work with!

    Open-Door Management - When members of the Leadership and Upper Management teams are not actively involved in client calls, their doors are always open. Management encourages pop-by and hallways discussions, as it helps to further project progress and provides greater transparency. On the topic of transparency, Leadership maintains quarterly All Hands meetings where the department heads provide summary updates for the rest of the company - the good, the bad, and the ugly. Fortunately the Brainjocks culture and market successes result in very few bad or ugly updates! The All Hands meetings feature not only project successes and pipeline opportunities, but financial updates about the company and various new employee benefits that Leadership strives to implement. Brainjocks has learned that one big secret to success is that if you take care of your employees, your employees will go the extra mile to take care of the company.

    I applied online. I interviewed at Brainjocks (Atlanta, GA) in May 2019.

    Interview

    Got a call directly from the HR. She discussed about the opening and I did not hear from her for some while. After 2 months she called back and Set a F2F interview . I cleared that and after that I had one Skype interview with MVP.
    Also Cleared that round (I came to know when I asked them for review) . They said they are still waiting for project to come through. They even did my background check(called my manager and colleague) .

    After that I did not hear anything from them . They just stop replying to mails and all.

    This is just such a waste of time, Since I am contractor I had taken a day leave to attend the interviews.
    Unless you have opening please don't approach candidates and mention that you will be hired when you get projects.

    Interview Questions

    • 2 Round

      1 round with 2 technical Leads. They asked everything on .Net . and all easy question
        regarding some feature in .net .IIS SQL Server. All were pretty easy questions.
      2 round was with MVP ,she asked me general how I am going to approach to a solution and what technology(Of feature) I am going to use and why? (was through Skype)
