I have been working at Brand Energy And Infrastructure Services full-time (Less than a year)
People in our Department are very nice and are hard working. If you like doing things the HARD way, and with Excel rather than a real GL/Accounting system..... you will love it here.
Not good benefits, VERY old systems, No integration with systems across the business. Lots and Lots of manual work effort. Non compliant in many areas, and not concerned if it costs them money to fix it. Not concerned that the "work" takes much longer as opposed to a better system with better reporting to streamline the tasks. Manual work causes longer hours. Not good work-life balance. They don't think like a Billion dollar company. Not really employee focused.
Advice to Management
An REAL Accounting/GL/HR/Payroll/Job cost system would save money overall.... and you would stop the "$$$$$ bleed" out the back doors. Putting Band-Aids on an OLD system isn't the answer. Come "into the light". An efficient - streamline - integrated system will save money overall. Stop thinking like it's the 1980's
I applied through a recruiter. The process took a week. I interviewed at Brand Energy And Infrastructure Services (Kennesaw, GA) in December 2016.
Initial phone screen was with 6 people on call. Lots of questions on process improvement. Called back for in person interview and met with CIO for about 30 min, which was my only one on one interview. As soon as time was up, which I was told was an hour but cut short, I was only given the opportunity to ask 1 question at the end. I was brought to a conference room with the same 6 people on the phone.
