I worked at Brandes Investment Partners (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great work/life balance. Brandes values employees and invests in their continued education and training. The company also invested in current technology. I worked with the best people and still keep in touch with some of them. Brandes listens to their employess. While I was there they distributed an confidential annual survey to the employees to rate Brandes and its management. The survey was conducted by an outside party. Action was taken to correct issues that needed to be or could be corrected and general survey results were shared company wide by the executive management at several meetings. Town hall meetings were held to discuss company status. Management had open door policy. Each department had a budget for team building activities. Most employees were loyal and worked hard to produce quality work because you were motivated. There were little perks and big perks but overall just a solid company to work for!

    Cons

    I can't think of any.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Brandes Investment Partners (San Diego, CA) in February 2018.

    Interview

I met everyone in the team who drilled down through my resume in great detail. Found the process intense and challenging and some questions were very unnecessary. I would not have accepted the role even if offered.
