I have been working at Brasher's Auto Auctions as a contractor (More than 8 years)
There are some amazing people that work here, unfortunately they are surrounded by a lot of other people that apparently get paid better money to essentially do nothing.
If your supervisor is in the "right" social circle, their complete incompetence and lack of an ounce of common sense will never cost them their job.
Advice to Management
You are so overstaffed with incompetence that you will have a hard time keeping quality workers for long.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Brasher's Auto Auctions (San Jose, CA) in July 2013.
I had to prove that I was more intelligent than the GM. So I was able to secure the position by opening the door to his office. He was so excited he started grunting something incoherently and I just assumed I got the position. I showed up that Monday and the rest is History.
The GM rolled over. I left money on the table.
