I have been working at BraytonHughes Design Studios full-time (Less than a year)
Sooo much room to grow! I came to BHD from a residential firm and knew very little about hospitality design, and they really helped to guide me to understand how to be better and see things from a different eye. The people above you have been in the industry a long time, and know so many people in the industry. Everything we do is very social with other firms, and it really feels like a family in the office. Great place to work!
VERY hands off management style - which could be a really good or bad thing!
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at BraytonHughes Design Studios (San Francisco, CA) in February 2014.
Informal interview meeting with the principals of the firm. They make you feel welcome and want to learn more about you as a person and past work achievements. I felt very comfortable and was immediately excited about the firm, staff and work environment. Some questions were related to how I see the firm from an outside point of view and what I would do/change if I get the job.
