What do staff want and what would make them happy? This is a serious question. I have been in public for 25 years. I swear I feel like a mom and therapist as much as a professional. I truly care about my staff. Treat then well, fight for them, invest in their futures. But the last few years it seems like nothing is enough. I am seriously considering early retirement because it is so emotionally draining on me. So many younger staff in here and all I see is complaints. Am I alone?

Breakaway Marketing Interviews
- Anonymous Employee in Pittsburgh, PANo OfferNegative ExperienceEasy InterviewApplication
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Breakaway Marketing (Pittsburgh, PA) in May 2016
InterviewThe interview process was very straightforward and efficient. I applied for the job and got an email a few hours later instructing me to call them. The next day, they called me to set up an interview. I had an interview two days later. When I arrived there were three other people waiting to be interviewed. The interview itself was very short. They asked me one question and then went on to 'sell' their company to me. Very little time was spent actually discussing my qualifications. This interview was basically a sales pitch to work for their company. The job description was very misleading. This 'marketing' job is basically just selling DirectTV out of Costco.Interview
