While our legal status as a fiduciary requires us to put our clients’ interests ahead of our own, our fee-only compensation structure underlines that commitment. It eliminates the bias that can arise when a firm is paid commissions or backend fees that come with recommending or selling products.

Client Service
Client service teams are the front line and primary point of contact for each of our clients. The team is responsible for helping to retain our clients. Lead Advisors focus primarily on the strategic aspects of client relationships—the client confidence and trust they maintain is the life of our business. Our Associate Advisors and Client Service Coordinators provide the day-to-day client support, and assist with the tactical and analytical aspects of client service.

Business Development
Our business development professionals support ongoing new business growth. The team is responsible for introducing prospective clients to our services, and then personally guiding them through the new client engagement process.

Tax Advisory Group
Our tax services group consists of a variety of roles—attorneys, CPAs, and client service coordinators. The team focuses on strategic relationships as well as day-to-day client support for tax advisory and wealth management clients.

Made up of professionals with expertise in finance, compliance, marketing, HR, technology and recruiting, our operations team provides strategic direction for the company and executes the initiatives that will promote our scalable growth.

Institutional Asset Management
This team works with business owners and leaders to provide support, education, and ongoing portfolio management on employee retirement plans. Acting as a fiduciary, we help companies help their employees become “retirement ready”. Members of this team are the main point of contact for our business clients and support ongoing new business opportunities.

    Brighton Jones has some of the most amazing people I have ever met or worked with. This team is all about helping others - whether our clients, colleagues or people in our community. Growth opportunities are everywhere given how collaborative we are, how much we want to accomplish together, and the passion we share for helping more people find happiness. There hasn't been a day that has gone by where I haven't learned something new, felt the care from a team member, or felt the impact I am making in this organization. We are a team that wants to be the thought leader in our industry and we do things differently because we believe it is a better way to serve our clients. We work hard, learn a lot, form amazing relationships, and have amazing experiences together. I feel so lucky to be a part of this amazing team!


    Because we have been growing so quickly, we have to stay nimble, adapt and flex with the growth. If you don't like change, you won't like it here. We've been around for 20 years but still feel innovative and fresh like a start-up operates. We're always looking to be better and to do that, you are always assessing, evaluating, pivoting as necessary and coming up with the next strategic action plan. We work hard because we are all very passionate about the work we do and work doesn't feel like work as it becomes a natural extension of who we are.

    Advice to Management

    Continue to diversify at the Senior Leadership level. More voices are better than few. Continue to diversify our team (we've been devoting much more time and attention to this and should continue to prioritize this) so we can better reflect our diversified client base. Continue to empower team members at every level and let them help drive our successes and be a part of our vision and solutions.
