    Negative Outlook

It is a job that works with children that will be happy to see you everytime you arrive at school.

Owner is clueless and often demands employees to do things that are illegal. Once confronted about it will deny having said anything, change to some other demand that is just as crazy, or want things done that are in violation of the contract agreement. The owner also does things her way even when it is against Japanese law. Again, once confronted by it, will state it is company rules and company rules are higher than law in her mind. Treats employees as uneducated brainless peons that are there to do her biddings.

    Difficult Interview

The interview process consisted of a sheet of paper with questions written on it. Nothing was actually asked or discussed really so i found the experience a little strange especially considering it was to work as a teacher of young children. Post paper interview, i was contacted several times about coming to the office again. Each time late in the evening with the requested date being the following morning. I was also requested in to see a preschool and the work setting but was not met by anyone at the meeting place given by the company. I found the scheduling and management to be haphazard and done without thought or care.
While writing out answer to the interview questions i could also overhear an elderly man and lady discussing the scheduling of schools and teachers. They were giving preference to certain teachers over others purely based on hourly pay rate. When interupted by another staff member telling them that the particular school in question has a strong focus on english and requires a native speaker, the old lady replied with so what.
I got a strong impression that this school cares more about money and profits than it does about education and staff teacher well being.
