Company Updates

  • Happy National Intern Day! While many organizations cancelled their internship programs - Broadridge decided to go virtual! This summer, 47 interns joined Broadridge, representing 32 universities across the United States, for our first ever virtual internship program.

  • With social distancing in place, more companies have turned to virtual shareholder meetings (VSMs) than ever before. Broadridge has hosted more than 1,300 online shareholder meetings through mid-June this year. That?s more than six times the number held last year. Some industry experts even believe that VSMs can improve transparency, by bolstering shareholder participation. Read more about how this phenomenon is shaking things up in the latest Bloomberg-Quint article: "Online Shareholder Meetings Are Packing In the Virtual Crowds."

Corporate Social Responsibility

Elevating Communities Through Committed Engagement

At Broadridge, we do well by doing right. That’s not a feel-good slogan – it’s a core value driving our commitment to service.

We understand that success is always mutual, which is why we've created a culture at Broadridge where the highest goal is to empower others to achieve more — whether business partners or underserved individuals in the communities where we work and live. By partnering with community organizations, providing educational opportunities in underserved areas, donating resources to charitable causes and simply volunteering our time, we hope to elevate our communities and extend success where success is demanded. We provide each Broadridge associate with three paid days annually for volunteer service – volunteer service for local schools, community building projects or any cause they feel is worth pursuing.

It's partly about our commitment to service and partly just the way we do business.

Our goal is to ensure our associates at every level better represent the diversity of the clients we serve and communities in which we work.

For over 10 years, Broadridge has been committed to promoting inclusion and diversity and pursues both top-down and bottom-up approaches to advancing inclusion and diversity initiatives and values into our culture. This commitment is reflected in our associates of varying backgrounds working in 18 countries.  Broadridge recognizes that developing and maintaining diverse talent and having people of all backgrounds, experiences and identities as part of Broadridge is not only an important social obligation but also a critical component to the Company’s continued growth and success, in providing award-winning service for our clients and, ultimately, in creating value for stockholders.

I have been working at Broadridge full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Its rare to see a large corporate company care about each individual employee. This is one of the most accepting a culturally diverse companies I have worked for.

    Cons

Broadridege acquires a lot of companies and the transition can be a little rough. Rest assured it will get smoother as time goes on. They dont understand that production needs more powerful equipment and they have a tendency to only listen to managment.

    Advice to Management

Make sure the production employees have the tools they need to keep the client standards we advertise. Dont always rely on managements opinion (especially when their goal is just profits and numbers). Ask the workers on the lowest parts of the totem pole if they have the tools needed to perform their job.
