There is no interview process. You apply on line. Website makes it easy to update. You are also able to attach resume, certificates, letters of recommendation, and any other pertinent information. Before you are accepted you must attend a mandatory training at the Central Office near Pembrooke which is unpaid - however, the training day has very valuable information. Human Resources goes over items such as pay and employee responsibilities. You discuss the importance and procedures for mandatory reporting as you are mandated by the state to report child abuse. You get a brief overview of what is expected while working as a substitute and tips on classroom management.
