Mission: Bumble is a platform and community that creates empowering connections in love, life, and work. We promote accountability, equality, and kindness in an effort to end misogyny and re-write archaic gender roles.
On Bumble, women always make the first move.
I have been working at Bumble full-time (Less than a year)
1 - Clear mission/values that everyone works to live by in everything we do - down with misogyny!
2 - Passion and positivity
3 - Not a ton of process yet (classic startup feel), but great for people who love to hustle and figure things out. You have plenty of support when asked.
4 - Opportunity to be apart of an exciting movement
5- Incredible perks (lunches/stocked kitchen, hair trims/manicures, focus on self-care)
6 - Bright, cheery office
As we grow, process/structure will be important. But we're in the phase of working to build that now, so it's an exciting time to be here.
Advice to Management
You've done a great job of embodying kindness and gratitude (and empowerment) in everything that's done here, and it's been an awesome experience so far. Looking forward to seeing more diversity across teams as we continue to set that as a priority.
The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at Bumble (Austin, TX).
Contacted the HR on linkedin. Had a pretty good conversation. I then received a face to face interview. Think it went pretty well. Didn’t get the position, had to follow up to see if I got the position or not.
