That's why Burke Williams is here to get you "spa- ready"!
Our lovely 8 week, hands on training will prepare our newly hired estheticians to be among the finest in the spa industry. This in depth training will focus on all skin care areas to ensure your success: extensive product knowledge on our exclusive H2V brand as well as Eminence Organics products, waxing techniques, and our signature 22 point accupressure facial massage. We also teach body mechanics and ergonomics to ensure longevity and we focus on customer service and sales education so your clients will have the best quality service.
Our newly employed massage therapists each receive a 3-5 day in house training, all designed to elevate the Burke Williams experience. Training includes, customer service, draping for maximum privacy, and our signature aromatherapy enhancements featuring Body Bliss oils.
Our 2-3 week front desk training focuses on Guest experience. Covering not only our extensive menu of spa services, the front desk training will help you master our booking system, superior customer service standards, and ensuring our guests have the WOW experience for which we are known.
I have been working at Burke Williams full-time (More than 5 years)
I have worked for Burke Williams Guest Services for almost 6 years. Throughout my journey here, I have grown personally and professionally. One of the best things about the company, is that they only promote from within. Management has always been supportive, open, transparent, and direct. This type of communication has been tremendously helpful as the agents are encouraged to be open and transparent as well with their managers, without any type of fear. Management encourages direct communication, a true open door, to share any ideas or concerns. Burke Williams is truly one of kind. You get the "family vibe" every single day. I have found my home away from home!
The only Con I could possibly think of is that there isn't a spa location in Nevada. However, California is not far away at all, so we can go to the spa in a short amount of time! (YAY for spa perks!)
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Burke Williams (Culver City, CA) in September 2013.
The interview process varies a lot on depending on who you interview with. I have interviewed for several positions and transferred several times while employed at Burke Williams. It has usually been quick and easy but at times there have been several steps involved in getting certain positions. Interviewing for General Manager was the most challenging. I applied a few times before getting my current position but was finally offered the position a few years ago.
