I have been working at Buttonwood Hospital full-time (More than 5 years)
Caring for people who are unable to care for themselves.
Pay is horrible. No shift differential and no one can afford the health benefits. New staff are paid More . Short staffed all the time. The nurses refuse to help, they only push meds and paperwork. But yet still get all the credit for all our back breaking work. And the nurses still complain.
Advice to Management
Pay your CNA' S better. Provide better Health Care, shift differential. We need more staff, we are burnt out. There are high call outs when we're overworked and under paid. Appreciate your CNA' S and they'll take care of your pts and facility. Remember good aides are hard to find.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Buttonwood Hospital (Browns Mills, NJ) in May 2015.
I Had a phone interview then 2 in person interviews. Nothing stressful very easy. Everyone is very nice. They enplane everything, I love working here it is very rewarding. It is only part time. So not to stressful.
