I worked at Buy For Less full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Some leadership development, pays for once annually leadership conference, (somewhat) flexible schedule

    Cons

Maintain retail schedule (somewhat flexible on their terms, not yours), doesn't follow-through on leadership development, Owners give lip-service to development and different christian aspects of employment but their personal character does not match what they preach.

    Advice to Management

Let people know when they've made a mistake and guide them to be better instead of firing them.

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took a week. I interviewed at Buy For Less (Edmond, OK) in March 2015.

    Interview

it was very laid back, or at least I was, I gave Sarah my application, and then several day later I met with amy, she asked me some questions like why did I chose Uptown, and what makes me think I would do well there, and then she sent me to do the questionnaire, she said if she wasnt there when I was finished then to take it to the guest service office, but she was there, then 3 days later I met with Cameron, the store manager, he had a very professional/casual/demanding respect kind of way about him.............anyway, he went over the some of the questions with me, I answered some wrong but he gave me a chance,

    Interview Questions

    • they outright asked if you would steal from the store, they had an 80 questionnaire and alot of them where repetitive   1 Answer
