Technical Account Manager
Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. For instance are you met with blockades, enthusiasm, dread, etc?

ProsBynder really values it’s employees and their well being. You are recognized routinely for the work you do, and the teams are all going towards the same goal
ConsSlow development of the product at times, which results in some customer frustration
InterviewLike many others have said on here- ghosted after the interview. Recruiter reached out to me, so I decided to do the interview and he was very responsive at first, then after the interview with the hiring manager, I followed up with him and the interviewer and never heard back from either of them. Seems like this is happens pretty often based on other responses. Hiring manager was very unprepared, interview was really awkward. I’ll admit I didn’t perform the best during the interview, but the interviewer definitely did not either. Low energy and seemed like she didn’t care what my responses were. Think I definitely dodged a bullet here. Find some decency to get back to interviewees who take time out of their schedule to talk to you.
Tell me about yourself was basically the only thing they askedAnswer Question
