Sales Training Curriculum

Our widely successful Mentor Program pairs experienced employees with new employees to help provide continual support and guidance and forge a path toward success. Mentoring also offers an opportunity for our seasoned employees to demonstrate their leadership abilities.
Our series of professional development courses is available to employees across the C&A organization. Our curriculum focuses on soft skill training including communication, assertiveness, conflict resolution, giving and receiving feedback, strengths finder, working with generations in the workplace, emotional intelligence, and more.

We offer customized courses, activities, and learning opportunities over and above our professional development curriculum which are tailored to the participants, whether it’s a division or department, employees in similar roles, or other group of employees.

Annual Awards Celebration
C&A employees gather each fall at an offsite location for a festive celebration recognizing individual employees and teams across our organization who have exhibited top performance over the course of the previous year. The evening culminates with recognition of our Employee of the Year.

Are you ready to take a step from your college campus and make an impression in the business sector? Our internship program, Skills for Success, offers enrolled college students the opportunity to gain real-world experience and exposure with one of the Best Places to Work in Omaha.
Our program combines on-the-job performance with a professional development curriculum to help you maximize your growth and give you tangible takeaways that you can leverage following graduation. Our unique and well-rounded program also incorporates team building activities, networking, participation in company events, and community engagement.
Through our structured model, you’ll work with company leadership to set goals and identify meaningful projects that will challenge and stretch you, add value to C&A, and help you build your portfolio. You’ll work closely with managers and fellow team members while receiving the support of the program and our company throughout.
We look for bright, passionate, and resourceful students for internship roles across a variety of departments within C&A.
Our paid internships meet college credit requirements. We offer flexible hours to help you balance your internship with your class schedule and school responsibilities. Internships are offered primarily in the summer (May/June – August). Fall and spring opportunities are also available.
Serving the community through charitable giving and community involvement is at the foundation of who we are at C&A. It’s part of our culture and we’re active year round.
As a company, we support a wide range of organizations, events, and initiatives in order to help make our community a better place to live and to work. But it’s more than that. Our employees get involved through hands-on volunteerism, through contributions to many diverse causes, and by mobilizing their peers when there’s a need.
C&A employees are also active in the work of The Kim Foundation, a non-profit established by C&A’s founder and chairman, Larry Courtnage. The Kim Foundation is a supportive resource and compassionate voice for those impacted by mental illness and suicide.
