I have been working at CAN Capital full-time (More than 10 years)
Through the precariousness of our situation that began late 2016 a dedicated team believed it was not the end. Through hard work, transparency and focus, the same team continued to believe it would not be the end. We lost very good employees when we downsized and BOTH times even some of those employees believed that it would not be the end. No, CAN is back and the end is no where in sight. CEO, CFO and Sr. Leadership have grounded themselves to further recognize what it will take to achieve greatness, not as a committee, but as a collective. We continue to build upon the foundation built nearly 20 years ago but doing so with a new structure, a renewed confidence and an infectious enthusiasm. Leadership was first to scrape away the negative fallout and that trickles down to everyone who genuinely believe in our company and our company's purpose. They recognize (and to quote a great song) "the good old days weren't always good and tomorrow ain't as bad as it seems". It's this humbling attitude that the staff and the employees see and caress as it's what's needed to move forward. Work life balance is still good. The benefits and pay are still good but the most rewarding aspect is the dedicated work family who held it together through it all. Proud to work with them, proud to be a part of this organization and proud to help things, well, move forward.
Still some technical hickups here and there that can hamper certain processes but our amazing tech team continue to work through the issues.
Advice to Management
Continue this new enthusiasm, continue to listen and continue to learn. No one is perfect. It is an exciting time for all at CAN and as long as we maintain a culture of achieving anything and everything together, 2018 will certainly be the most rewarding year yet!
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at CAN Capital (Kennesaw, GA).
Went over typical SQL questions (different joins) and past analytical experience. The interview lasted over 2 hours and I interviewed with a coworker, manager, VP, and Executive all back to back.
