I have been working at CBLPath full-time (Less than a year)
Not your typical healthcare company. Its pretty fast paced. They look to improve process, tools, technology and welcome their employees input. Lots of opportunity for growth for anyone with a good work ethic and analytical mindset. Managers are good technically and show empathy towards their employees. With a leaner organization there is also new opportunity for advancement (I'm pretty excited about that part!). Since its a smaller organization, they can be more flexible than most larger national laboratories. All staff is friendly and helpful. Its just a nice place to come to work each day. The location is nice too. Plenty of parking and not to far from public transportation (they have a shuttle from the Metro-North station).
The company has faced some challenges and has had to make some difficult decisions based on business needs. None of us were too surprised by the changes and they were justified. Leadership was as transparent as they could be about the choices they made. We are running with less staff and are leaner, but this also brings an opportunity to expand beyond my job responsibilities and learn some new skills.
Advice to Management
Overall, I am confident in management and their ability to take the company beyond the current challenges.
