Diversity & Inclusion

Have you ever wondered how CBS creates our amazing content? It's simple--we've asembled a diverse team of creative minds in an open, inclusive and collaborative environment where everyone belongs and feels comfortable speaking up to share their unique perspective. Through mutual respect and a shared vision, our teams are able to build content that reflects our audience, our values and our incredible employees. Our employee resource groups help CBSi team members around the world build relationships and connect with other CBS employees across the company.

They include:

RAD - ‘Respect. Appreciation. Development', an all-inclusive ethnic diversity group where members create experiences that further the dialogues that matter

Women’s Networking Group - a dynamic group focused on advancing women in the workplace and in the industry

ANGLE - a group that offers LGBTQ and allied employees a chance to network and participate in professional and personal development opportunities.

This Is Now - a growth and development team that focuses on employees' career expansion via speaker series and mentorship programs

We've Got You Covered

Did you know there's no one-word anagram you can make from the word 'benefit'? That makes sense, because why would you want to mess around with the great package we offer! Our benefits ensure our employees and their families have the coverage and resources they need to thrive at work and at home. Check out how we've got you covered:

Health & Wellness - When it comes to health, everyone has different needs--from finding the right doctor to lowering prescription drug costs, coping with a serious illness, or simply living a healthier lifestyle. Through company-sponsored benefit programs, we offer our team members the resources they need to make informed healthcare decisions and live their healthiest lives.

Finances - Our savings, tuition reimbursement, investment (and financial consulting?) programs are here to help you plan for your future and reach your financial goals. Start saving for your next home, despite the price of avocados.

Time Away - We offer company paid holidays, a weeklong winter shutdown, vacation, sick days and parental leave coverage to ensure you have a chance to relax, unwind, and not think about work!

Family - In addition to flexible work schedules, we offer childcare and elderly care resources, adoption, loan and legal assistance, and college planning coaches to help you and your dependents. And we haven't forgotten your furry family members, we've got pet insurance for them too

    Easy Interview

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CBS Interactive (New York, NY) in February 2020.

    Phone Interview
Spoke with hiring manager who sounded bored and uninterested even though she mentioned I had an impressive resume. She seemed intimidated by my resume and kept mentioning being over qualified. I wondered why I was shortlisted if that was an issue.
