CDW – Why Work For Us?

We are the People Who Get IT

Our fingerprints can be found on technology in workplaces and workspaces of more than 250,000 companies, from fresh-faced startups to international conglomerates. We’ve powered record-breaking data traffic at a Super Bowl stadium and equipped mom-and-pop stores with POS systems for Small Business Saturday. We’ve helped hospitals keep medical records secure from data breeches and we’ve migrated a university business school to the cloud. With the breadth of products and services we offer, combined with the expertise of our specialists, there is no request too big or too small.

CDW is a company that gets IT. We realize the importance of personal and professional development, and that your professional success is just as crucial as your personal well being. That is why CDW is 100% committed to the development of every coworker's personal and professional life. We call it Total Wellness. We offer programs, tools and resources to help you achieve your professional goals, as well as your physical, emotional and financial goals. It's The CDW Way and the right way to run a business.

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CDW.

    Interview

35 minute phone interview with HR; in person interview with two A/R supervisors scheduled for the following week. In person lasted about an hour 15 and felt positive. I was well qualified for the position but I know there are many reasons offers are not extended. As it has been 7 business days since the interview with no contact, it is my assumption I didn't get the job. I do find it surprising that a company as large as this does not even send an auto-generated rejection email. It's a poor way to treat people and I expected them to show more professionalism.

    Interview Questions

    • Why CDW? Tell me about yourself. Tell me about a time you had to make a decision without consulting your supervisor. What would your boss say about you? What are your strengths and weaknesses? As I knew their questions would be behavioral, I was prepared.   Answer Question
