I worked at CEFCO full-time (Less than a year)
Notable company with room for advancement, benefits, learning ground. They do make sure employees are trained and offer certifications for everything you have learned and will need to continue to stay up to date.
Performance reviews were not done in time, hours vary due to managers try to stay under labor hours which results in higher bonuses for the Store Manager at the end of the quarter.
Advice to Management
Do some of the work, show the employees that you not only know what we are doing but that you are willing to jump in and help find a solution not appoint it to other staff.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at CEFCO (Dallas, TX).
DM called the day after I applied online. Was given a low ball offer, told them I needed about 50% more to consider it. He checked with the Area Manager, it was approved. Little did I know they just were planning to use me to fix up one of their problem stores, then fire me as soon as it was up to standards
