I have been working at CORT full-time (More than 10 years)

Cort is a great place to begin and finish your Career. I started out as a Driver twenty years ago and was afforded the opportunities to spend time in many locations throughout that time. WITHOUT A COLLEGE DEGREE. Cort has challenged me to become the best I could by providing an amazing opportunity to create life long friends in an industry that allows for relationships and partnerships to flourish. Through hard work and dedication I have been rewarded very well through promotions and honest feedback on where I needed to improve. Stores closed on Sundays and all Major Holidays.

Smaller Districts struggle to provide career advancement opportunities for employee not able to relocate. National Accounts division does promote from within by looking at opportunities for high performing employees that are not able to relocate to work from home or office in district close to their home.

    Advice to Management

New Management structure from the top down is exciting. The future is very bright with a leadership team that has listened and is responding with actions that will with out a doubt provide positive results into the future.

    Marketing Manager Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Las Vegas, NV
    Declined Offer
    Negative Experience
    Easy Interview

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at CORT (Las Vegas, NV) in January 2018.

I spoke with a recruiter for a few hours and the questions were vague, non genuine and it was obvious the woman had very little experience in marketing. The questions lacked depth or substance, it felt as though she was simply checking a box to move me to the next step. She had come to the call very unprepared and asked me a series of generic questions that could/should have been answered by a simple review of my resume. There was no chemistry whatsoever and it completely turned me off of the company in its entirety. They say you only get one shot at a first impression and this was a blown first impression for sure and a huge waste of my time and energy. Disappointing
