Company Updates

  • • In 2016, 60* existing CRF Health personnel move into new roles and numerous Fixed Term Contractors were made permanent. (*Representing 13% of our average workforce throughout 2016).

    • In 2017 (as of 31 October 2017) We have brought in 148 new people as permanent hires including 10 converted from temporary to permanent contracts.

    • In 2017 (as of 31 October 2017) 82 requisitions were filled through internal candidates moving in to different permanent positions and a further 11 were given a fixed term, secondment opportunity.

  • As of 31st October 2017 we have 60 permanent open requisitions which we are recruiting against. There are a further 40 which are at "Offer" stage. The vacancies include multiple requirements for Application Specialists in the UK and the US, Data Reconciliation Co-Ordinators and Verification Specialists in Romania and User Experience Specialists in various territories. Additionally we have a number of non-permanent opportunities which include secondment opportunities for our internal staff.

Statistics from 27th November 2017

This quarter we have......

  • Promoted 39 people internally, including 10 secondments
  • Hired 186 new permanent staff globally
  • Rolled out Lean Six Sigma, Yellow Belt training across an number of areas of the business to over 150 people
  • Held 8 social events - with more company as we come to the Festive Season

The Iasi Office is "officially" open!

The official opening was on 20th September, in a modern office building in the historical centre of Iasi. Along with the official opening we were also celebrating the appointment of Adina Tapalaga as Vice President, Global Services and the 46th hire in the Iasi office. Several personalities attended the opening including the mayor of Iasi, Mihai Chirica. We also welcomed various university professors and other well known influencers from the IT industry in Iasi.

Our Finnish office is in Helsinki. From here we conduct our R&D, additionally we undertake Quality Assurance Audits, and the office is supported by Finance, HR and IT.  Our office address is:

  • CRF Box Oy supports the health of our employees by offering a "Mind & Body" card, which is free of charge for all employees in Finland. The maximum value given to employees is provided by the Tax Authority. 

  • On Friday mornings we serve breakfast at our main kitchen on 4th floor.

  • Coffee and tea are provided free of charge. 

  • CRF Box Oy offers lunch benefit to it’s employee’s by lunch card. The maximum value per month is €166,00.  75% of the value is deducted from monthly salary.

  • Our health care provider is Diacor. Within the first month all employees have to take a physical examination which includes blood tests (haemoglobin, cholesterol and infection measures) and a nurse interview.  Occupational health service includes one specialist visit per year for each employee, 2 visits with a nutritionist and 5 visits with psychology. A Physiotherapist visits the office regularly to check employee’s ergonomics.

  • CRF Health has a contract with Stella Kotipalvelut OY about taking care of sick children. In practice this means that when employee’s child is sick an employee can call Stella and ask their nanny to come to take care of the employee’s child. CRF Health pays the invoice.     Pros

    If you like a massively growing, dynamic and fast paced business environment - you should be beating down the doors of CRF Health. I've worked in a range of large and medium sized businesses and none had the energy and the focus this business has.

    Cons

    Yes there are growing pains, but the positive intent is clear. Don't come here if you want stable and boring!
