I have been working at CSI (Central States Industrial) full-time

    Pros

-Training in technical and soft skills - although experience is many times preferred, the company will consider the overall fit and drive of a candidate from outside the industry
-Great culture of co-workers - we help each other to meet customer needs and care for others like family in difficult times
-Nice facilities that are comfortable for the employee and professionally maintained
-Respect maintained through ups and downs - when there is a failure - learning the root cause and growing to the next level is emphasized, not blaming and shaming

    Cons

-When encouraging the next generation to consider the company as a great start to an entry level career - it is difficult to explain all the areas of opportunities if skills in Trade Schools and Colleges were pursued.

    Advice to Management

Keep encouraging and growing your people internally as the company grows.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at CSI (Central States Industrial).

    Interview

I had a phone interview and then was told I would be flown in for an on-site interview. I received a call a few days later saying my onsite interview was delayed and would need another phone interview. After my second phone interview I was re-invited to an onsite interview. I was contacted a few days later and told my interview was canceled with very little details. I'm sad to say this company treated me very unprofessionally and was a waste of my time and effort. I do not recommend applying here.
