Each of our offices has a fun and unique culture, and we all share the same passion for our work. We have experienced record growth year over year for the majority of our history, and we have an outstanding group of people managing our internal services and processes to ensure we stay ahead of the curve.

That’s when our employees across all offices come together to play games, win great prizes, and see old friends.

You also have the opportunity to participate in various sports teams at CTS. We dominate in softball, have some of the fastest runners in the Southeast, and our soccer team is led by a former collegiate athlete. We’ve even done our fair share of mud races. If we don’t already have a team together for your sport of choice, just ask around! We always have people willing to try something new.

Aside from fun team events and sports teams, we provide you with free snacks, sodas, coffee, and tea to keep you going throughout the day along with games in every break room when you need to take your mind off work for a few minutes.

Part of our mission is to give back to our local communities. We give every full time employee 40 hours per year to use towards local community service. You can do a service project as a team with other employees or do something on your own to impact the local community. CTS organizes events related to local STEM initiatives, but you can also serve other organizations that are particularly meaningful to you without having to use your vacation time!

I worked at CTS (Computer Technology Solutions) full-time

    Pros

The company feels like a close knit team of friends rather then coworkers. Management in the local offices is great and very understanding the work-life balance is fantastic. The location(Charlotte) that I worked at is 5-6 hours away from headquarters in Birmingham however we saw and interacted with upper level management a good bit which is awesome for developing your career.

The work is pretty exciting as well you can find yourself working with multiple different technologies in the span of a year which is awesome for personal growth. On top of that the developers and senior developers there are some of the best that I've seen in the industry. This is an excellent enviorment for starting or ending your career they offer challenging and entertaining work for anyone at any skill level.

I highly recommend CTS Charlotte and CTS as a whole to anyone looking for a career change.

    Cons

My diet basically went downhill because of all the food we had in office.

They didn't have a toaster so I had to buy one.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing and don't let CTS's success and growth hurt the company culture or the work life balance. Don't fall victim to what makes people avoid the bigger consulting agencies.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at CTS (Computer Technology Solutions) (Charlotte, NC) in January 2017.

    Interview

The entire interview process took 2 weeks. I applied through my university's career site. The first phone interview was behavioral, the second phone interview was technical and the last interview was an on site interview that was mostly technical with some behavioral. Overall, the process went very smoothly.
