I have been working at Calaway Park full-time (More than a year)
-Employee bus! There's like 6 in the city so no matter when YOu live it's easy to get to work!
-co workers, everyone is between 15-22, so it's a very social setting
-free entry to the pArk all season
-15 general admissions free for your family
-discounts on food and merchandise
-good hours. You can work anywhere between 16-40 hours depending on your preference
-raises based on your performance
-scholarships, you can get $500 a year to put toward school
- pays to smile award, they recognize you for your efforts and give YOu a cool water bottle.
-spirt days with free food, they suprise you with free breakfast, lunch, or pop sickle on a hot day
-so much room for growth, if you stay with calaway you can become a captain or lead
Dispite all the negative comments from other people, if YOu are a good employee and are positive it's an amazing place to work everyone is so nice and cares for you and they want you to do well.
Advice to Management
I love calaway and think every thing is really awesome. The only thing I would change are the pants they are a little unflattering but I can't want to come back.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Calaway Park (Calgary, AB (Canada)) in August 2016.
They ask you who your role model is, what quality you have that would make you an asset to the company and what is one situation in which you saw someone be dishonest and how you reacted. They did a short phone interview and then asked me to come to the park for an interview.
