    Pros

    I'm so glad that I work at a company like Calendly. This is an honest review; I can promise you that. Something you can't take for granted is the people you work with, especially those with whom you work closely and regularly. I'm so grateful for the kind, supportive, and genuine people here, far and wide. Are there growing pains with a fast-growing company? Indeed. The important thing is that we know this, and we support each other, and I really think that's the culture here. Using PTO is encouraged (but not abused), and schedule flexibility is like nothing I'd experienced before Calendly. Overall, I'm really grateful to work here, and I'd recommend this place for those who seek a great work-life balance, and a human-centric culture.

    Cons

    Calendly is a SaaS company that's not yet public, so some might not appreciate that. Also, this company is growing exponentially. The software engineering space can be complex as we expand our product, and solid project management can be tough to attain/maintain. We have a monolith that 100s of devs touch each day, so it can get annoying to manage and maintain the code, but we're making it work.

      Interview

      Calendly's interview process is one that all other companies should aspire to as it was impressive from start to finish. Highly communicative about the expectations leading into each interview so I could prepare appropriately, which was especially helpful given how challenging and stressful the current job climate is. They really want you to be set up to succeed which shows. Every person I spoke with helped build excitement in the organization and helped me have a better understanding of how they embody their values as well as what the work environment was like. Be sure to bring good questions! Stages: * Phone Screen * Hiring Manager Call * Take-Home Exercise (which was very relevant to the position and current opportunities!) * Panel (4 interviews spread throughout a day, 30-45 minutes each with different focuses and team members) * (At Mgr's discretion) Additional Hiring Manager Call / Closing * Reference Check / Background Check / Offer They are very thoughtful and intentional with their decision-making process and considerate with how they manage their candidates time. 10/10 Would Recommend!
