I have been working at California Bank & Trust full-time (More than 10 years)

Co-workers are great; people really care about each other.
Customers are treated like individuals with unique financial objectives; they are not seen as sales objects.
    Pay is competitive.

Systems provided by the parent company are obstacles to getting things done.
The parent company is driving outcomes more and more without understanding consequences of their decisions.
Overhead in Salt Lake City is squashing profitability and productivity.

    Advice to Management

Bancorp Management makes decisions in a vacuum and then seems truly surprised at the less than optimal results when something rolls out to the banks. They are behind the eight-ball with out of date systems but continue to insist on building them from within. It's been a recipe for poor results for years.

I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at California Bank & Trust in June 2015.

Hiring manager was very nice and helped me prep for interview with Sr. Credit Analyst. Asked about my experience and what I did that would be useful in the position. Interviewed after with the Sr. Credit analyst and then with the entire team (6 total people).
