We take great pride in our community involvement and give back every way that we can. And, because we live and work in the communities we serve, we have established deep roots in each of the neighborhoods, cities, and towns where we do business. Throughout the state, individuals, small businesses, and large corporations rely on us for our guidance, collaborative spirit and custom financial options to help them achieve their dreams, goals, and objectives.

At California Bank & Trust, we strive to create a diverse and inclusive workplace that champions our associates’ differences and reflects our clients and the communities we serve. Our commitment to diversity and inclusion is a cornerstone of our culture – guiding how we treat one another and how we conduct business. Our formal Diversity & Inclusion Program includes employee-led groups, known as Business Resource Groups. These Groups increase diversity and inclusion awareness among our associates, potential associates, clients, and prospective clients. In addition, these groups provide a place to share ideas, network, raise awareness of diversity, promote inclusiveness, build a culture of allies, develop personally and professionally, and connect to the community.

I have been working at California Bank & Trust full-time (More than a year)

Updated offices, friendly coworkers, and overall a very enjoyable company to work for!

The health insurance benefits are high-deductible plans, which forces employees to pay out of pocket for most of their health care.

    Advice to Management

To be more willing to pay competitive salaries and give larger annual increases. Showing employees that they are valued through monetary compensation goes a long way!

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at California Bank & Trust (San Diego, CA) in August 2010.

I met with the HR Director for 1 - 1 1/2 hours at their office in UTC. She was a very friendly and positive person. I enjoyed the interview. Afterwards, I was immediately finger-printed to continue the interview and hiring process. This was only the 1st interview, and the 2nd interview was scheduled for shortly thereafter.
