I have been working at California Closets full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

If you’re looking for steady and reliable employment, this is a great company to work for. In the time that I have worked here (under a year) I have seen many improvements within the company. Management does well to handle the daily challenges that arise, and I have seen both procedural/operational and shop equipment continuously upgraded.
From the newest employees to the top managers, everyone here at the San Diego branch is very friendly. I was surprised to see such a high functioning team environment when I started working. Unfortunately, most of my jobs have been with companies that do not value a team/family-like work environment. Fair pay with clear and detailed paths to receive promotions and raises.

    Cons

No 401(k) matching, medical benefit coverage is disappointing but at least it’s available.

    Advice to Management

I don’t feel as if I’ve worked with the company long enough to make any sort of management advice. For the most part they do a wonderful job and I have had a lot of fun working here.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at California Closets (San Antonio, TX) in November 2015.

    Interview

Easy interviews no communication after. Received Job offer, then revoked it a few hours later, but they weren't going to tell me before I turned in my two weeks notice at my current job. Sadistic bunch of people running the show. Apathetic, disgusting.
