    Positive Outlook

I worked at California Department of Justice full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Working for the state was great! I often regret leaving my position. Having weekend and holidays off is a huge benefit!

    Cons

The only con I can relay is when there are consolidations, furloughs and/or lay-offs status of employment is stressful.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at California Department of Justice in June 2016.

    Interview

The interview was with a panel of three attorney interviewers. They had a set list of questions and did not deviate from them. It was apparent from the questions and process that the department had put a lot of effort into avoiding unintended bias.
