I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CallisonRTKL (Canada) in Mar 2023
InterviewI was reached out by a recruiter, the process took 2 weeks to hear back from the HR for an interview. The interview was through Teams with 1 principal. The interview was very casual, asking about my past experiences, and salary expectations. However, the salary they could offer is way below the market rate right now, and the principal tries to convince me that low rate is the matching the current market, which is not true. Not very pleasant experience in general.Interview

As CRTKL celebrates its 75th Anniversary, we look to the future and how we, as a firm, can tackle important issues like equal representation, pay equity, and fair opportunity. “Without the diversity of thought from women around the globe, we may not have weathered this storm. We are deeply grateful to our people for continuing to work for the great of the world while their own seemed to fall apart,” adds CEO and President Kim Heartwell.
As a firm, we recognize the inherent value in a diverse workforce and an inclusive work environment –more holistic and equitable decision-making, higher performance and more innovation, and greater employee connection and engagement. We know we can do more as a team than as individuals. Our global reach and influence allow us to make substantive progress as we amplify our efforts and channel them toward progress. We value the differences among people and the contribution these differences bring to our business. It is everyone’s responsibility to live and endorse a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) at CallisonRTKL. Collectively, we must actively work against racism, sexism, and other forms of bias. We recognize that certain groups are underrepresented in our workforce and our industry. We are working to make waves here as we believe that a focused commitment to implementing practices and actions will help us continue to create a strong and dynamic company and industry.
