I have been working at Caltex full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Head Office is at a great location close to shops, bars and public transport

    Cons

Caltex has lacked real leadership and direction for over 2 years, most big projects and campaigns are continually delayed or cancelled
Decisions are made for political reasons, not business reasons
Just had a massive re-structure, so morale is poor and it seems all those left are looking for another job

    Advice to Management

Develop a top down strategy and stick to it (PS - a strategy is not a tag line)
Do 360 degree feedback so you can see clearly who the ineffectual managers are and weed them out. They play great politics but are not leaders
