I worked at Calvert Social Investment Foundation as an intern (Less than a year)
- Meaningful work -- the social impact of the Foundation is very tangible
- Employees care about their work, which creates a positive culture
- Great office space
My role was a little repetitive at times, which as an intern, is to be expected. Also, this wasn't my personal issue as an intern, but I get the sense that, like with many companies focused on social impact, there's a trade-off in the salary you bring home.
Advice to Management
I don't really have too much advice to give to the management of the Calvert Foundation due to my short time there.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Calvert Social Investment Foundation (Washington, DC) in May 2012.
Really friendly interview process, just be sure to know the companies mission and what it does specifically as well as why you are interested in it.
