I worked at Cameron Mitchell Restaurants full-time (More than a year)
They care a lot. Food quality is excellent. They like to get employee feedback in a great anonymous way. The atmosphere is great. You wake up and want to go to work.
They have sometimes put too much faith in people who should not have been promoted to management. And it makes the work environment difficult
Advice to Management
Before promoting someone, make sure they actually pass the empty chair test. And if you find that there's been a mistake, actually do something to teach the new manager rather than shrug your shoulders as an "oh well"
I applied online. I interviewed at Cameron Mitchell Restaurants (Dublin, OH) in June 2017.
Everyone I met was incredibly friendly. I was interviewed by the general manager, but "interview" is the incorrect term. It was entirely a conversation about my resume, interest in the food industry and what I like to do in my free time. The only question he asked me about the job specifically was how much I would like to get paid a week.
