I have been working at Campari full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great company with a growing team and positive culture. People are very friendly and collaborative.

    Cons

Campari is quite small compared to the competition so options for growth may be limited. Company is moving in the right direction though but there are many unknowns as roles and responsibilities are being defined as they go along.

Visitor Center Tour Guide Lead Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4+ months. I interviewed at Campari (Lexington-Fayette, KY) in July 2017.

    Interview

I applied online and was contacted about a month later. I went through a phone screen with an HR Representative, an in-person interview on-sight with the hiring manager and a phone interview with the Director of Marketing. There were 4-5 weeks between each step, but I still haven't heard back from my final interview (this was a couple months ago) and nobody will return my phone calls or emails.

The position I was interviewing for was a new position and the expected start date was right around BourbornFest, which is undoubtedly a very busy time of year. Nonetheless, my biggest complaint would be the lack of communication with me and the constant rescheduling (they rescheduled with me AT LEAST once nearly every step of the way). Overall, I felt the process was rather haphazard.

The interview itself was rather strange, as some of the competencies didn't really seem to align with the position description (again, this was a new position). Additionally, the interviewer seemed rather negative about the company when I asked questions. Finally, in my final interview with the Director of Marketing, it made me feel like the company is very disjointed. The interviewer didn't know much about the position and couldn't answer any of my questions. Frankly, I'm not sure why this step was necessary.

I'm writing this review because I've given up on the position, but I will update later if anything changes. Overall, I am left with a pretty negative opinion of Campari.
