Mission: At CP, we're all railroaders and our culture is one of hard work, accountability and doing what we say we'll do.
Why? Because we want to see our customers' businesses grow. When you join CP ...
Other than the blood money of pay and benefits there aren't any. Fellow union workers for the most part are a good mix. Some are suck ups but they are far and in between.
HR, management, spineless union and union leaders. People that have bought into bad management style all because of the almighty dollar. Worst place for management I've ever experienced. Only the dumb and weak stay.
Advice to Management
Stay at CP. No other company would put up with your nonsense way of "leading".
I applied online. I interviewed at Canadian Pacific Railway (Minneapolis, MN) in January 2017.
First you get invited to a job preview with probably everyone that applies. They try to scare you by telling you how the railroad operates 24/7 and you are on call. After that, they call you in for an interview. The interview is just some idiot managers reading questions off their interview guide from Human Resources and nodding like they know or care what you are talking about.
