“Connect; don’t direct”. This is a quote from our COO, Rick Fisher. This quote embodies so much of what Canndescent stands for. As with any Company, there are levels of employment ranging from entry-level all the way up to CEO. Since I began working at Canndescent I have felt like an equal. When on site, our executives connect with all employees – asking what they can do to help, what the Company can do as a whole to perfect each department and role. We are a team, we are a family. Connect is not just our 4th pillar;it is who we are."

I have been working at Canndescent full-time
Pros
The people, hands down. I love my coworkers. We're all very different and from different walks of life, but everyone is a professional.
Besides the amazing people, we have great benefits:
Paid every other Friday via direct deposit.
Medical / Dental / Vision / Life insurance
Paid time off and holidays
Company laptop and phone (depends on position)
We get equity/stock
Casual dress
Discounts on product
Cons
Locations are spread out a bit (LA, Santa Barbara, Desert Hot Springs), so it's hard to see all your coworkers often.

Application
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Canndescent (Santa Barbara, CA) in October 2018.
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter who I had interviewed with before, at a previous company. After an initial phone conversation to explain the role and the company, I was invited for an onsite interview in the Santa Barbara headquarters.
I interviewed with the HR Generalist, the Director of Talent, and CPO.
The interview day included a lunch meeting to make me feel more relaxed.
The day ended with a meeting with the Director again to let me ask any questions I had.
They were very transparent with the entire process and timeline. After another phone conversation, I received an offer which I gladly accepted.
