    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Canvas Worldwide (Playa Vista, CA) in August 2016.

    Interview

Recruiter messaged me on LinkedIn based on my automotive background. Several messages and phone calls in regards to the position and salary requirements and the company's budget later, I was scheduled for an in-person interview with the prospective team on a Thursday.

Upon positive feedback from my initial interview with an associate director and a supervisor, the prospective team requested a second in-person interview the following Monday with the member of the team that would be training me for my position and assisting with the settling process. Personally I felt that the second interview also ended on a positive note as well.

I followed up the next Monday in regards to an update to the proceedings, and the recruiter let me know that there would be an update by the end-of-day.

I received no reply to a second update inquiry (5 business days later), nor did I receive a call back to my voicemail that I left three days afterward.

It felt odd that a recruiter would completely ignore candidates this way, even if the news to deliver wasn't positive.

    Interview Questions

    • As it was an automotive account, the concerns for the position involved handling fast-paced, high-volume copy writing.   Answer Question
