    Pros

Collaborative Culture -- as a company, we meet at least once a week to discuss roadmap and current status of goals.
Qualified Leadership -- our leadership team displays qualities of level 5 leadership - extremely humble with a strong professional will.
Good Perks -- generous vacation, transportation subsidy, lunches & dinner with the team, good healthcare coverage, 401k offering

    Cons

Being that CaptivateIQ is a rapidly growing startup, the cons are what you would expect.
Long hours can be necessary but I've found that there is flexibility as to when & where those additional hours can be worked.

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CaptivateIQ (San Francisco, CA) in December 2019.

    Interview

I had a call, one-on-one interview with the Head of Sales, and then an onsite interview where I met with several company leaders (CEOs, CTO+Engineer, AE, Head of Sales) separately over the course of a couple hours. Each conversation I had focused on different aspects of myself and the company (culture, technical skills, soft skills, long and short term goals). Everyone I spoke with was friendly and approachable. Overall It was a very positive experience where I was able to showcase my skills to the team while also evaluate them as potential peers and mentors. I was extended an offer with a three day expiration and gladly accepted it.
