    Average Interview

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Carbonite (Boston, MA).

The hiring process followed the industry standard. I had initial calls from HR and then a follow-up screening call with the hiring manager. Where there was still interest from both side, we proceeded to an in the office for a full day of interviews with the VP, various Directors and Senior Managers. Within a few days, HR called back with an offer. We went through some negotiations and then I accepted the offer.

    Interview Questions

    • The underlying questions focused on my skill set and experience. In preparation for the interview, I did an analysis of Carbonite's products/history and prepared summaries of my key achievements. One question I got multiple times was why Carbonite?   1 Answer
