Care Dimensions was selected by Modern Healthcare as one of the 2018 Best Places to Work in Healthcare. The national award program recognizes outstanding employers in the health care industry, and is based on the results of an extensive employee survey. More than 80 percent of our employees responded to the survey.

As noted by Care Dimensions President and CEO Pat Ahern, “We are committed to creating a work environment that supports our mission and honors our organization’s values of compassion, excellence, collaboration, integrity, responsiveness and innovation.”

Our comprehensive benefit plans include: competitive compensation; medical, dental, long-term disability, and life insurance plans; two retirement savings plans; contributions to health savings account; and up to seven weeks of earned time off per year (depending on hours and status). Eligible employees can also accrue additional sick time for an extended personal illness.
We also provide a concierge service that features discounts for movie tickets, wholesale shopper’s club, insurance, banking, phone service, and more. For additional information, see the Benefits tab.

The program helps nurses develop their hospice expertise through a combination of didactic training and a controlled case load of patients. Nurse residents will be employed at Care Dimensions during the residency and with successful completion of the residency, offered a full-time position in Case Management. Following the residency, a commitment to work full-time for two years is expected for all nurse residents.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Care Dimensions (Massachusetts) (New York, NY) in October 2018.

Refreshingly collegial and respectful of both the time I set aside and the experience with which I arrive. Courteous, warm, well prepared, punctual. Followed up with a telephone call and an email inquiring as to any questions left unanswered. All in all one of the most pleasant interviews and processes I have experienced.
