    Neutral Outlook

I have been working at Carillon Assisted Living part-time (Less than a year)

I enjoy working with the elderly. Just making someone laugh makes my day. The opportunity to make a difference.

It is sad to see people whose families do not visit. I tears my heart out to see people who want to do for themselves , but can't . They want their dignity in the worse way.

    Advice to Management

This a hard question to answer. I would say more igroup interaction. Maybe more events to hopefully get more family participation.

I applied in-person. I interviewed at Carillon Assisted Living.

I had to interview with three separate people. 2 in person and one on the phone. All the individuals I talked with were very personable and encouraging. Had to take a personality inventory on line. I was offered the position but in the end the salary was too low for it to make sense. No attempt to work with me on salary or benefits. I think I would have enjoyed the job but without some effort from the higher ups to have some wiggle room in salary to pay someone more qualified would've been demotivating over time.
