    Pros

A steady and standard corporation, set in the suburbs of Minneapolis. It seemed like a pretty drama-free workplace, with everyone comfortable and calm.

    Cons

Vast sterile office space (in the Plymouth, Minnesota facility) relaxed a little by high ceilings. While positioned as a market leader, internal awareness of market context was low.

    Advice to Management

Unsure. Much has changed since the re-brand to Aimia. If low internal awareness of larger business context (competition, etc) persists, some education might help.

    Application

The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Carlson Marketing (Plymouth, MN) in November 2009.

    Interview

Interviewed with an HR representative and my immediate supervisor for the 1st round. This lasted about an hour and was fairly relaxed. 2nd round was a short interview (30 mins) with the Director of HR. This was also relaxed and more conversational. Nothing too difficult to answer and very nice people.
