The other employees and staff are very friendly. Open communication and fun activities throughout the year. Benefits are pretty good, and Vacation Sick, and other benefits are available either immediately or within 90-days. Gold points are earned based on upsell that you can use towards hotel stays, gift cards store cards etc. They do a good job recognizing good employees.
Shift bids take place every 4months so your schedule can change, and sometimes drastically. Not a lot of opportunity for advancement. Starting pay isn't great, but it isn't horrible either, there are opportunities for overtime and that is nice when it happens.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group in March 2017.
Good experience. Process was fast and straight-forward. First round was with HR manager. 2nd round was with hiring manager. Overall process took about 2 weeks.
