The magazine created the award in 2018 to support part of WIT’s (Women in Trucking) mission to promote the accomplishments of companies that are focused on the employment of women in the trucking industry. Companies were evaluated based on their corporate culture, flexibility in schedule, compensation, benefits, professional advancement/development opportunities and overall safety. Pros

Company pays health insurance, good pay scale, most management is awesome, laid back environment, great team of techs I work with, and so much more.

Cons

Some company policies are too strict(mask mandate), sometimes management is TOO MUCH about the number of cars rather than the quality.

Advice to Management

Keep in mind, even though this company is a “Numbers game”, we still have company standards for our vehicles for a reason.

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Carvana (United States)

    Interview

    ~30 minutes each on Zoom:

    #1: Recruiter
    #2: Senior team member
    #3: Supervisor for position
    #4: Leadership

Interviews were very casual and informal. Good opportunities to ask questions.

It was a fast turnaround time to hear back about advancing to the next round, usually by the end of the day or early the next day. It took longer to coordinate schedules for the next interview.
    Interview

Why interested in Carvana / this role? What do you think will be the biggest challenge of this role? How does this fit into your long-term career? How do you tackle new challenges? Questions about adapting to changes and a fast-paced environment, basically trying to figure out if you can be successful in this role/environment
