I have been working at Casals & Associates full-time (Less than a year)
Great salary, benefits, time-off, and coworkers. Being a small company, you have the opportunity to do a lot of different things.
Low morale; rampant nepotism; no training program(s) for career advancement/professional development; few workable systems in place after being acquired by DynCorp.
Advice to Management
Launch training program(s) for career advancement/professional development; hire and promote based on merit/performance, NOT personal relationships; do NOT let DynCorp people tell the Casals people how to do international development.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Casals & Associates (Washington, DC) in January 2011.
Had a phone interview and a panel interview, and had to undergo a background check and get a drug test.
I accepted immediately, as they offered more than what I would have expected.
