Interview
Four interviews: (1) HR (30 min): Behavioral, job description with a very professional and responsive gentleman. (2) VP (1 hr): Overall job description, role expectations, team structure, engaging discussion on past experience, signal processing and software testing techniques. Was also interested in prior ML model performances. (3) Developer (1 hr): Three technical questions, on SE principles, Python syntax and Git. Experience was meh at best, too long time slot, it would have been better used on actual ML focused principles, coding packages / situation based ML algos. No discussions on: - ML algorithms or packages - Building ML data pipelines - Ways of improving existing model performance. (4) Founder (1 hr): Most engaging discussion about what they do. Very interested in past ML experience, including model metrics, filters, he also encouraged Q/A. He is passionate and optimistic about their product in a nice way and I believe he is doing great work in healthcare.InterviewWhat is the concept of inheritance? What is Python list comprehension? What is Git?
