    Sales Associate Interview

Anonymous Employee in Virginia Beach, VA
    Accepted Offer
    Positive Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Cash Converters (Virginia Beach, VA) in October 2014.

    Interview

Very quick interview, store manager was down to earth and one of the best. Made sure that it was understood everyone was like family and that makes new employees feel comfortable. Assistant store manager sat in on interview, it was a nice overall experience getting to see what both are like ahead of time. For the most part, the interview is more confirmation that the job will be yours instead of a process for hire. We barely went over my resume, as the store manager knew my resume in and out, he was extremely prepared heading into the interview. The questions asked weren't difficult and again, more so for confirmation of hire rather than a hiring process. They know the type of employees they are looking for, if you arent family oriented and social, i dont believe you will be hired.
