Mission: To provide best-in-class customer service and offer an innovative mix of financial products and services to our customers.
I have been working at Cash Store full-time (More than 5 years)
The company offers many levels for advancement. The pay is fantastic for a retail position and the hours closer to bankers than typical retail. The position is pretty simple and comparable to banking standards which is why you get paid so competitively. It’s a constantly evolving job so if you like challenges and high rewards this is a great opportunity.
Honestly if you’re looking for a sales job this is more banking. The company has to follow lending laws and compliance and accountability I s important bc you deal with money. It’s an adult career. If you’re looking for part time or high pay with little accountability you won’t do well with the company. Policy changes to adapt to people since they’re your sales goal.
Advice to Management
Most of the negative reviews come from terminated employees who were terminated for a reason
The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Cash Store (Garland, TX) in August 2010.
The interview was held in the lobby, there were at least 4 other people there for the interview. You could hear the other persons interview. Upon arrival I had to fill out an application. Then I was asked to tell about myself. After that I was given general information about the job. Then I was given a test that was timed. Example of question True or false, Red headed kids are normal, Johnny is redheaded, he is Normal. Answer would be True. You had to make a 25 to pass. It was graded while there. I was told I did way above. While I was there another girl was told she failed. The job only paid 13.50 per hour.
